On Friday evening I came home from my trip to WA to find that my husband had created 3 new pieces of wall art for our home...aren't they awesome? He made two for our living room and one for our bedroom! He made them by cutting old magazine pages into simple shapes and then arranging them either abstractly or into patterns. The materials needed for the project are simple and inexpensive. In fact, if you are like us, you may already have everything you need laying around your house, which would make this project cost close to nothing!
These two are in the living room...
And this one is in our bedroom....
A BIG THANKS to my husband for being so creative and adding some fun new wall art to our home!

Simple Magazine Art
Materials Needed...
Frame
White sheet of paper - cut to fit the dimensions of your frame
Double sided tape
Magazines - that you don't care about anymore
Scissors
1st. Gather up some old magazines and cut desired sections into triangular shapes that vary sizes. The black and white text will create a more modern look...and then you can add a few additional colored pieces to create a focal point.
2nd. Arrange the magazine clippings on a white sheet of paper. You can move the shapes around until you find a pattern that you like.
3rd. Pick up 1 triangle at a time and place a little piece of double sided tape on the back, then place the triangle back where you found it.
4th. Place your finished art work into the frame and hang wherever you desire.
